因为对于翻译这门手艺充满了憧憬，就买了一堆北外上外考研指定用书回家研究，中式英语之鉴就是其中一本，读完有些思考想跟大家唠唠。平卡姆老师在这本书中用的英语不是很难，单词平均难度在专四和专八之间，过了专四或者六级的人看应该会比较有收获，在“学习区”内，所以推荐一下这本书。
作者写中式英语之鉴是为了纠正一些中国人运用英语时错误的不地道的表达，那么首先要回答的问题是什么是正宗的英语。
在这本书中所倡导的正宗的英语无疑指的是简明英语，特点是”direct， simple and clear”。
“简明英语是由查尔斯·凯·奥格登发明的只有少量单词的英语，他的书简明英语规则和语法的一般约定里对此有所描述。
奥格登说过：学习英语要七年，学习世界语要七个月，而学习简明英语只要七周。简明英语用于公司在国际上使用的书籍，短期内对学生进行基本英语教学。
奥格登不使用重复意义的单词，而且需要所有国家都适用这些单词。他利用大规模的测试和调整来得到这些词汇。在语法方面，他也做了简化，但是保留了英语通常的用法。”
在后面的发展中，简明英语在商务英语和法律英语上有了长足发展。简明英语无疑很适合用在商业上；而法律英语为了保证条款的确定性和权威性，一般冗长复杂，如一个含义要用两个甚至三个同义词来表示，在现在重视效率的社会渐渐向简明方向发展不足为奇。
但是这里我们要清楚一个语言是在不断成长和变化的`，中古英语和现代英语自然是有诸多不同，而且每个人的风格也不同。在我看来简明英语的诸多规则只能算作是一种风格，一种在近代社会被提倡的风格。而我们在翻译或者写作时应依具体文本的需求和受众的需求适用不同的风格，而不是倡导每种文本都用一个风格。口语和书面语明显不同，书面语中，用途不同时风格也应做相应的改变。
比如文学和非文学就有很多区别，文学讲究陌生化，要得就是一种朦胧的，”transparent”的感觉，才能让自己的文字更引人遐想有更多解释空间，而非文学为了交流方便，自然不会太晦涩难懂。非文学中又可以分很多类，商务性文本、法律性文本、政治性文本。比如政治性文本，你的翻译是为了让英语国家的人明白，就要模仿英语国家中的政治性文本的写法。但翻译这种文本的一个困境是：译者害怕丢失一个词就丢失了一个意义，不敢随意添加修改，所以偏向直译。其实也是很无奈。
一个语言中什么说法能不能用要取决于大多数人是怎么说的，因为你的目的是让大多数受众明白。比如clinch现在虽然被认为是不符合语法，但有些时代中因为大家都这么说，所以当时是可以接受的。所以这种情况下，”non native speaker” 就很吃亏，因为没有大环境让你了解其他人都在怎么说。
我认为在这里，中式英语中最应该摒弃的无疑是you can you up这类说法。当然这个是有点太low了,相信有点英文素养的人都不会犯。接下来要摒弃的就是不常见说法，也就是本书中part one所强调要纠正的。然后对于part two中少用名词多用动词、少用被动多用主动这类型风格类的倾向，我认为就要依文本需求和受众需求来定了，如果一个文本十分正式，翻译的很直白自然也是不合适的。

在新课程改革实验不断推进的今天, 我认为做一个中学英语教师决不能没有激情, 不富有激情的人就不能称其为一个上乘的英语教师。那么, 如何使自己成为充满激情的老师呢? 如何创设一个积极互动开放的教学情境, 使英语教学事半功倍呢?
一、做一个充满激情的英语教师
首先要热爱生活、热爱英语、热爱学生, 在自己的心中时常蓄积着犹如岩浆般的滚烫的情, 让每一个学生心底里沉淀的情发酵、释放。在平时的交流中, 老师要让学生感觉到我们同他们的关系十分重要。老师也许是喜欢学生的, 但可能所作所为却恰恰相反, 如推迟上下课, 不重视学生的时间; 提供的材料不是太简单就是太难, 不能针对学生的实际能力; 不提供相互交往或讨论的机会, 无视学生的想法; 不考虑学生的安排、问题或担忧, 表现出对学生漠不关心; 不按时上班或抽空去看学生, 不尊重学生的需求, 尤其是他们课外的个人需求; 无节制的幽默或使用嘲讽的语句等。看不起学生或是使他们难为情可能使学生产生强烈的痛苦, 摧毁自信, 酝酿敌视。当然我们热爱学生, 就要在我们的行为中清清楚楚地表露出来; 热爱学生包括对他们的需求和兴趣爱好的欣赏。这密切关系到我们了解学生如何学和他们需要什么帮助, 以便去鼓励这种学习, 也包括我们将其当作学习者直接或间接的鼓励。在课堂上就反映在我们自发的行为和对班上成员持续不断的敏感程度之中。
二、要有幽默感
《英语课程标准》中指出:“学生只有对自己、对英语及其文化、对英语学习有积极的情感, 才能保持英语学习的动力并取得成绩。消极的情感不仅会影响英语学习的效果, 而且会影响学生的长远发展。因此, 在英语教学中教师应该自始至终关注学生的情感, 努力营造宽松、民主、和谐的教学氛围。戏剧大师莎士比亚也曾说:“幽默是风趣和智慧的展现。”“幽默”一词是英文humor的译音, 它是一种个人独特的气质,它是一种高超的艺术, 有声的`或者是无声的。也有人说, 幽默既是一种语言艺术, 又是一种行为特征。从心理学上讲, 人们大都喜欢幽默的故事, 欣赏富有幽默感的人。因此, 一位英语教师有一份幽默, 在英语教学中恰当运用幽默, 能激发学生的情感, 引起他们的喜悦和欢乐, 他们获得精神上的享受和快感, 从而激发学生的学习兴趣和学习主动性, 帮助学生加深对知识的理解和记忆, 提高课堂教学效率。这样教师的教学就有了个性魅力和智慧的光彩, 就能把一些抽象的、复杂的教学内容, 以一种生动而饶有兴味的形式表现出来, 强烈地吸引学生的注意力, 降低教学难度, 进而达到良好的教学效果。
三、营造“激趣→创景→启发→探求→交际”的教学互动过程
传统的英语课堂教学, 只重视英语知识的机械输入和积累, 而忽视学生学习英语过程的启发, 特别是英语语言的实践活动等过程, 造成学生被动学习, 课堂气氛缺乏活力和生机,师生之间缺少情感交流,无有效互动。而新课改理论指导下的课堂教学则要求: 教师在组织课堂教学中, 不仅要有效灵活地传授知识和技能, 同时, 还要激活课堂气氛, 调节学生学习兴趣, 师生之间要进行情感交流, 教学互动。
四、教学要有智慧,
把握好英语课堂教学抒发激情的最佳时机, 使英语课堂教学波澜迭起, 收获多多。高超的教育教学技巧, 驾轻就熟, 不落窠臼, 让英语课堂教学永远保持一种清新的感觉, 让学生丝毫觉察不到教师人为的痕迹。我们必须深信自己的知识。英语教学并非单纯机械的单词和语法知识积累, 句型的操练和课文的讲解, 而是开启学生获取知识和能力的智慧天窗。在组织教学中, 教师要根据学生的心理欲望, 释放出内心的激情, 让他们独立地、创造性地发现问题, 分析问题, 解决问题, 主动积极地参与英语课堂教学, 轻松愉快地学习。而这一切是否能够顺利做到, 和老师运用自身的热情来调动学生是有很大关系的。当然, 只有激情也不行, 还要有宽容、严谨、沉稳等素质,总而言之, 一个好的教师应该是: 宽容中有严谨, 严谨中有幽默, 幽默中有沉稳, 沉稳中有激情。激情是火, 可以点燃学生的求知欲望; 激情是露, 可以滋润学生干渴的心田; 激情如风, 可以吹皱学生平静的心湖; 激情如雷, 可以震醒学生懵懂的迷梦。让我们激情飞扬、缔造辉煌! 当我们走进英语课堂, 我们的生命将充满激情; 当学生走出英语课堂, 他们的人生将更加辉煌!

1、 小学英语教师要不断提高自身的业务修养不仅是教育教学方面的也是语音方面的至少要做到与教材录音带在发音方面保持一致。教师的发音是学生模仿的主要对象之一对学生的英语语音学习起指导和示范作用。在英、美英语相互交融、美国英语盛行的今天作为英语教师学习并掌握美国英语乃大势所趋面对新形势要不断加强学习更新自己的知识结构找出英语和美语的主要差异如词汇、读音、拼写等方面。
词语方面之不同简单举例如下
rp ga

油炸土豆条 chips french fries
长裤 trousers pants
而英国英语和美国英语的最大差别在于发音rp和ga之间在音素、单词发音、重音和句子语调方面均存在明显差异。因此同时向学生灌输两种英语发音势必会给他们的学习造成混乱与困惑。另外在母语的环境里开始学习一门外语很多学生本来就带有畏难情绪再让他们同时学习两种英语发音无疑会给他们增加不必要的负担挫伤他们学习英语的积极性。读音方面简例如下
1）在passbathaskcan’tfast这一类单词中rp念作/α ：/而ga则为//成了/ps/ /bs/ /sk/ /knt/ /fst/。
2）字母o在重读闭音节中rp念为/ /ga念为/α /

rp和ga在单词重音（word stress）、元音的弱化和省略（the weak forms and elision of vowels）及节奏和速度（rhythm and rate）都有若干不同处在此不再赘述。
2、 提高语音教学的意识注重原声英文的熏陶
有一些教师轻视了对学生在发音、语调等方面的指导这实际上就是忽视了英语语言的民族特色没有抓住这一语言的实质致使很多学生没有形成良好的发音习惯张口就是“中式英语”在对学生的辅导中应施以潜移默化的影响多加鼓励并非一味纠错。小学英语教学中的语音教学很全面包括单音、单词、句子、重音、停顿、连读、失去爆破、语调、节奏等。而小学英语教师要清楚地认识到小学英语教学的目的之一是培养学生的英语语感培养对听、说的感性认识这样需要小学英语教师在教学时既要练好单因又要始终注重在英语语流中练习语音和语调。教师应进行一定的专门发音训练（如元音归类）。另一方面要善于利用录音机在教学中人机配合使学生多听标准录音。没有什么材料比英文歌曲、电影、话剧更能体现语言的地道性了学唱英文歌曲是正音、训练连读的有效办法。在平时的课堂上或“英语角”活动中多举行英语课文朗读等对激发学生纯正语音追求的兴趣是非常有帮助的。
3、 创造良好的语音环境强化口语练习
首先坚持用英语组织教学。上课、布置作业、下课使用相应的`课堂用语。久而久之学生从听懂、到学讲、到会讲一步步提高。
其次要充分利用现代化教学手段和合理的学习方法。教师可以运用电脑、vcd等多媒体设备优化学习环境改进学习方法提高学生学习英语的兴趣。例如制作和剪辑精彩的英语教学片制作有声的动画课件给学生播放英语vcd动画片、教学片或录像带等学生也可以通过软件或互联网学习英语。这样学生实际上接触的是真正的鲜活的生活英语他们可以在生动的和真实的气氛中接受、吸收和习得这一语言。
最后为增加学习语音的动力实行口试制度。内容有认读字母、单词朗读句型回答问题等。学生通过口试看到自己的进步获得成就感增强学习语音的信心平时也会特别注意发音训练。
4、 对初学者的教学方法应以示范和模仿为主。
在有效的示范和指导的基础上进行模仿是习得语言最有力的手段对语音教与学来说尤其重要离开了模仿几乎可以说不能掌握任何语言。新《课标》对小学英语初学者语音目标的描述是“了解简单的拼读规律；了解单词有重音；语音清楚语调自然”。儿童学习发音是靠模仿来形成反应的这种最初的反应必须经过多次的重复才能巩固。因此在新授后要重复练习且练习的方式方法要多样化避免枯燥乏味运用绕口令、说唱、游戏练习就不错。
发现学生模仿练习时出现缺点要及时指导、纠正。对学生错误的发音不要重复、不要给予强化以免引起错误的模仿。
模仿是第一性的掌握规律是模仿的深化和简化。要求学生全方位模仿是指模仿一篇对话中的发音、语速、语调、连读、爆破、略读、停顿等方面坚持每篇对话都能做到流利朗读。
5、 结合单词、词组、句子、课文来进行语音教学
为了保证学生能够形成正确、规范、自然、流畅的英语教师可采取多种教学方法搞好语流教学。如单音、单词、句子相结合；单词、句子、语篇相结合；特别是要将语流教学与课文教学相结合进行让学生多听课文标准录音对课文的语流语调要形成整体的深刻印象如此坚持练习学生才能突破朗读关朗读时才能表情达意这对语感的形成至关重要。
另外诗歌、绕口令、歌谣、歌曲等让学生练习或让学生欣赏性地听充分调动学生的兴趣和学习的积极性在美的熏陶中获取英语语感。
要求教师不只为教语音而教语音应把例词、例句作为重要的教学手段来使用。如在教连读和爆破时要记住“goodbye”中的 /d /只是舌尖抬起作发/ d /的姿势；/tr/ /dr/ /ts/ /dz/ 它们前面的爆破音要失去爆破如that chair stop talking等。
6、 抓好入学阶段的语音学习
俗话说：良好的开端是成功的一半学生入学后英语是一门新学科老师要抓住学生的好奇心把语音知识渗入教学过程中。因为英语的语音知识包括很多并且贯穿于教学过程的始终帮助他们归纳规则防止学生用汉字式拼音给单词注音造成发音不准确的不良习惯。
7、 注重朗读。
坚持朗读教学可以提高学生的语言节奏感因为英语的轻、重读很明显起伏很大节奏感很强如果对连读和失去爆破技巧加以注意更可以提高讲话的节奏感。在朗读训练的各个阶段要找出学生们的兴趣与朗读训练内容的结合点以激发和保持他们的学习热情。在朗读训练初期语音语调训练中可选用一些绕口令、浅显的儿童英语歌谣、教唱一些英语歌曲以激发和保持学生的学习兴趣。而学生对朗读兴趣的保持在于成就感。当学生可以利用单词的拼写规律识记单词时、当学生在朗读比赛中获得成绩时他们会更爱朗读。

阅读《英语阅读教学》第二章“阅读教学目标”让我明白阅读目标不只是知识的学习、技能的培养，更应该包括阅读习惯的养成、自主学习能力的发展以及情感态度、文化素养等综合素质的培养。阅读教学目标应体现多元性、过程性和持续性。阅读本章的感受就是：准确定位阅读目标，提高阅读教学效率。
一、阅读教学目标的内涵
阅读教学涉及两个方面，一是学习阅读（learn to read），二是阅读学习（read to learn）。阅读教学的目标应该包括五个方面：阅读教学的技能目标、阅读教学的知识学习目标、阅读教学的图式建构目标、阅读教学的自主学习目标、阅读教学综合素养目标。
以前谈到教学目标时一般都是三维的，即知识目标、能力目标、情感目标，阅读《英语阅读教学》知晓，从三维的角度去定位阅读教学目标是不全面的。“高中阶段的阅读目标不仅包含理解大意、理解作者的.观点态度、根据上下文线索进行推理判断，理解不同文体的文本，……同时还必须能够阅读一般的英文杂志、报纸等。培养学生的自主学习能力应该成为高中阶段阅读教学的主要目标之一，必须把策略教学纳入阅读教学，帮助学生养成良好的阅读习惯”（P37）。
二、阅读教学目标的认知层次
根据布卢姆的教育目标分类，阅读教学目标的认知层次可以分为以下七个方面：
1. 知识层次目标；
2. 领会层次目标；
3. 运用层次目标；
4. 分析层次目标；
5. 综合层次目标；
6. 评价层次目标；
7. 元认知层次目标。
三、阅读目标的设计方法
1. 教材本位法
课堂教学目标的设计必须建立在对教材中阅读材料进行分析的基础上，要求首先阅读教材和教材中的教学活动，分析教材中教学活动的类属和认知层次，然后根据认知的要求将目标具体化。
2. 学生本位法
学生本位指课堂教学目标设计必须考虑学生的实际，它包括阅读材料对学生语言基础的要求和阅读目标对学生认知能力的要求。
3. 话题本位法
不同的话题内容表现形式不同，理解目标也就不同。如有的话题包含不同民族的文化，因此可以设计跨文化交际目标，但很多话题没有必要设计文化或者情感态度的目标。
4. 层次化目标法
设计阅读目标时一定要注意目标的层次性。广大教师一定要注意教学目标的层次化，设计多层次目标，而不是单一层次的目标。很多学生做了大量的阅读练习，尤其是备考练习，但其阅读能力仍旧不高，原因与只做选择填空练习、没有语言输出活动有关。
四、阅读目标的阶段性
阅读教学目标很多，课堂的最终目标是运用，但是运用必须建立在知识和领会的基础上。知识目标是基础的目标，领会目标居中，最后才是阅读的运用目标。因此，在设计阅读目标时要关注目标的阶段性，“一般说来，领会在前，运用在后；识别在前，表达在后。”

Recently, I read a fairy story book, Little Prince.This book tells the adventurous experiences of little prince from his planet to the earth.Little prince comes from the outer space and he is hurt by a rose.
So he leaves there and travels into space.He comes to the earth and be the friend of a fox.The fox tells his secret to little prince and he helps a pilot in the desert. In the end, he dies under the help of a snake and his soul goes back to his planet.This book is very interesting and teaches me a lot.
I like little price adventures.He teaches me to be honest and love others.All of us should never loss the pureness of childhood.
