我对英语一直都有一种莫名的喜爱，可当初还在上小学的我，或许可以用“目光短浅”来形容吧！不知晓单词量的重要性，只觉得把学校英语书上那点儿东西学好就没问题了，也从来没有注重过听力的'练习。
我们小学出的英语卷子相当简单，大家每次都能取得还算满意的成绩，这也使我产生一种错觉——我的英语还是可以的。
但上了中学后，才发现我便是那只“井底之蛙”，“山外有山，楼外有楼”这话说的着实没错，英语精湛的人数不胜数，我却因儿时的疏懒，被许多人远远地落在后面。
说实话，学校的期中试卷比洛阳市统一出的期末考试卷难度还要大些，最能够考核实力的便是其中考试了，可无论是上学期还是下学期的期中考试上，我的英语成绩都不尽满意，这也让我晓得——我还差得远呢。
如今我的单词量少得可怜，有时给我一篇并不难的英语文章，我都不一定能够看懂。还有听力，有一次，您在放听力材料时，我竟然只听到了寥寥几句，其他都模糊不清，判断不出是什么单词和句子。
不过今后我一定会更加努力地学习，多多练习听力，多多积累单词，尽力做到听说读写背同步，您放心吧！
