I began to like English when I entered the senior high school. I owe it to my English teacher who has stimulated my great interest in learning English and then influenced my future, and whose name is Zhang Yanshu----a name I will keep in my mind forever.She showed great love to us which is deeply appealing to our heart. Different from other teachers, she has never been impolite to us. Oppositely, she treated us equally. She made efforts to attract us to the world of English, to understand the beauty of the language and enjoy the cultures of the foreign countries. With her skillful help, the students in our class took great interest in this course and improved rapidly.She was kind and patient. She did not mind the students' slowness in learning new knowledge, but it did not mean that she was not strict with us. To make what we had learned strong, she often asked us to recall the knowledge in class. This was also a method to examine the homework she had assigned. 她说话也很有风趣，还有，爱与同学们聊天说笑，深受同学们爱戴。虽然课堂随意性大，但同学们的作业完成得非常好，而且，同学们考试成绩没下过80分。在家长会上，校长说我们都很努力，老师也非常认真负责。 虽然肖老师要带几个班的学生，但她对待每个班的学生都一样认真负责，这也是肖老师本人的一大亮点。 肖老师还有一套令我们好好学习的妙招，那就是奖励。

英语老师，是使我受益最多的老师。
老师姓罗，身高中等，相貌平平，一双有神的眼睛却为他增添了光彩，让人看到那双眼睛便不由自主地被他眼中的光亮所吸引。他手上总是拿着一根小棍，一尺来长，不为打人所用，唯一的用处就是在上课时敲击几下讲桌，将我们从下课时的散漫拽回到上课的专注。
罗老师与其他老师不一样，他很好说话，人也是温和慈爱的。他是四川人，说着带着方言的普通话，可读英语时却是听不出方言来的，发音很标准，也是令人惊奇了。
我小学时，英语成绩十分拿不出手。我曾经将英语视为我平生最痛恨的学科，甚至一度放弃英语。枯燥无聊的abc，分不清的单词拼法和各种语法让我手足无措。可是，罗老师的出现为我点燃了希望。
罗老师讲课前，总是要先讲单词的。本来记忆力不错的我每天跟着读，也可将我最厌恶的字母背下来。但是因为基础差，介词、动词什么的一概分不清。老师在上面讲课，坐在下面的我脑袋里一团懵，禁不住将这些疑问脱口而出。老师顿了一下，便看着我的眼睛，放慢语速，细细地讲着，直到我眼中的疑惑消失，做出恍然大悟状，他才放心一笑，对我轻轻点点头，继续讲下面的'内容。
照这般学下去，英语成绩渐渐转好，后来竟至突飞猛进。这让原本对英语深恶痛绝的我转变了态度，原来英语也不是那么面目可憎嘛，由此更是对这位负责的老师心生感激。
老师曾对我说：“不要在意你的小考分了嘛，现在抓紧学，什么都不晚的。只要你想学，那些都不叫事儿。”我至今记得老师说这话时轻快的语气和满眼的期待。
现在，我的英语成绩虽不是拔尖的，却也一直在往上走。每想至此，心中对老师的感激更深了。
每当我学习压力大，满心疲惫时，耳边总是响起老师那句：“只要你想学，那些都不是事儿。”

i will never forget my first chemistry teacher. he was a little man with thick glasses, but he had a strange way of making his classes lively and interesting. and his lessons were not easily forgotten.i still remember one of my lessons from this teacher. after the students were all in the lab, the teacher brought out three bott[es. one was filled with petrol, one with castor oil and one with vinegar. "now watch carefully," said the teacher.
he then filled a cup with some of the petrol, some of the castor oil and some of the vinegar. as the students watched him quiet[y, he mied the three together. after that, he held up one of his fingers and showed it to the class. he then dipped it into the cup. after a few seconds he took his finger out. "now watch," he said. "remember, you must do every thing as i do."he put a finger in his mouth, tasted it and smiled, looking rather pleased. then he handed the cup around the class of students. each student dipped a finger into the miture and sucked it. instead of smiling, each of them made a face. the miture tasted terrible.
when the cup was at last returned to the teacher, he said sadly, "i m sorry, none of you watched carefully enough. yes, i sucked a finger, but the finger i put into my muth was not the one i had dipped into the cup."it was my first important lesson as a student of chemistry and i never forgot it.
